Weiser Elks Lodge #1683 has exemplified the spirit of giving by donating $6,000 to Love INC (Love In The Name Of Christ) of Washington County.
This charitable contribution will support the Thanksgiving Blessing Boxes program, a heartwarming initiative aimed at helping those in need within the community.
Love INC, a collaboration of Washington County churches, distributed 147 Blessing Boxes last year to households of all sizes, from individuals to large families. These thoughtful boxes included a range of essential items such as Canned Green Beans, Canned Corn, French Fried Onions, Stuffing Mix, Instant Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Olives, Gravy, Canned Yams, Frozen Pies, Rolls, Aluminum Baking Pans, Turkey-sized cooking bags, and appropriately sized turkeys for each recipient.
