Every year before Veterans Day IT1 Jessica Mosley, US Navy and former Weiser fourth grade teacher would have her fourth grade students put on a skit for the whole fourth grade class about Veterans Day and following the skit she would give a lesson on the importance of this day.
Mosley, now the Weiser School Districts EL Coordinator and Teacher, continued that tradition this year. Wednesday, November 9th Park Intermediate School held their annual fourth grade Veterans Day assembly lesson directed by Mosely.
Mosley stated, “I teach all the fourth graders what Veterans Day is all about. Who Veterans are and what the branches of the military are.” She shared that since she no longer had a class to pull actors from for the skit she was able to have fourth graders from multiple classes volunteer to practice and perform the skit for their peers.
