Superintendent Kenneth Dewlen gives the community an update on the new track behind the Weiser High School. The ground breaking was August 22nd.
The track and field is used a lot by the community, City Recreation Department and by the Weiser School District.
Along with the replacement of the track, the facility will also get new enfield ends, new jump pits, new high jump area, pole vault landing area, two new shot put throwing areas and a new javelin throwing runway. The track will also forgo the traditional black and be Wolverine red.
