Weiser, Idaho to Get Its First Dog Park, And You Could Help Name It

Dog lovers, the City of Weiser is getting its very own dog park, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Weiser Dog Park Committee, the City of Weiser, and support from the LOR Foundation.

The new dog park will be located behind the Soccer Complex on East Park Street. Designed to be more than just a fenced-in area, the park will feature shaded covers, water access for thirsty pups, and handcrafted benches built by the Weiser FFA.

Organizers aim to create a welcoming, comfortable space where both dogs and their owners can relax and enjoy the outdoors.

And here’s the fun part, the community is invited to help name the new park. Submit your name idea to Weiser Classic Candy by July 26, and you could win a $100 gift card good for anything from sweet treats to deli delights and specialty items.

For Weiser’s four-legged residents and their humans, this new park is shaping up to be a tail-wagging success.
