The Weiser Masonic Lodge has partnered with Pioneer Elementary School and Park Intermediate School for a project that they started called, Books for Bikes.
Students at these schools are challenged to read books starting from now until the middle of May. For each book they read they will earn a ticket that will go into a drawing for the chance to win a helmet and a gift card. The gift card will be for $125.00 at Walmart where the students can purchase a new bike. There will be two winners drawn from each school. Zions Bank also donated bike helmets for the winners. The Masonic Lodge hopes that the Books For Bikes program will improve reading in both schools.
