Monday, August 14th at the monthly City Council meeting, Weiser Mayor Randy Hibberd appointed Marg Chipman to fill the vacant City Council seat previously held by Alicia Fowler. Mayor Hibberd stated during the proceedings that he was honored Chipman was willing to fill the seat and serve on the Council.
Her previous involvement serving on the Weiser School Board and her dedication to a town she has lived in since 1971 will help Chipman in her ability to serve the city through her new roll. Chipman shared her excitement in serving on the Council stating, “Im eager to listen and learn and give back to the city.”
