Weiser- Saturday, October 5th drivers from near and far gathered to spin their tires in some Weiser mud. Racers have been playing in the mud here in Weiser for the last twenty years and this event had plenty of mud slinging. Committee member, Brooke Curtiss, shared, “The mud Drags ran more smoothly this year than in years past. We had a good turnout and are planning very big changes for the next year. We plan on adding some other non-mud events for off road trucks. Additionally, we are already addressing what few issues we did have so we can continue to be better!”.

The 20th Annual Weiser Mud Drags delivered excitement this year with its fan-favorite “Dash for Cash,” or as locals call it, the “Dirty Dash for Cash.” This muddy tradition, held as an intermission event during the drags, continues to captivate attendees of all ages. Participants—divided into age groups 6-9, 10-13, 14-17, and 18 and older—raced through slippery mud pits with one goal: to dive into a deep mud pond and retrieve a rubber duck. Hidden on these ducks are cash prizes, making the event both a messy adventure and a chance to win big. Families and spectators gathered in Weiser on the first Saturday of October, the date always set for the Weiser Mud Drags. The Dash for Cash has been an annual highlight, adding a layer of fun competition to the motorized mud action. Whether you’re running, sliding, or cheering from the sidelines, this muddy race is always a crowd favorite. For 20 years, the Weiser Mud Drags have brought the community together for an action-packed day of racing and family fun, and the Dash for Cash ensures everyone can get in on the muddy madness. Here’s to more years of dirt, ducks, and prizes!
