The terms for Weiser School Board Trustees in Zone I, Zone IV and Zone V (see attached pdf maps) will expire on December 31, 2023. The new term of office for these zones will be January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2028. Candidates wanting to run for a school district trustee seat must meet the following requirements:
· Be 18 years of age.
· Be a registered voter in the State of Idaho.
· Live in their zone for at least six months.
· Complete a Candidacy Packet. Candidacy Packets are available for interested patrons to pick up Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The packet includes a Declaration of Candidacy form and a Nomination form that will require five signatures from registered voters within the zone for which the candidate is running. Candidacy Packets must be returned to the School District Office on or before Friday, September 8, 2023.
