The Wrench Monkeys are formed by a talented group of young men who all have a driving passion to playing music for the public. The Wrench Monkeys have performed all over Weiser from; Fiddle Fest of 2021, Rock In The Park 2021, and this years latest festivities Fiddle Festival and Rock In The Park. Smoken Frannys and Pickers Paradise have also been local places where the band has performed.
Cameron Funke and Jestyn Hamilton decided one day in 2019 to put together a band. The name “The Wrench Monkeys” originated from a video game, Guitar Hero. In this video game, a random name generator determines your players name. The Wrench Monkeys then became adopted by Cameron and Jestyn for their band. After meeting Kade Hill and Peter McKenna, the band took off. The Wrench Monkeys have performed a huge mix of different music but primarily classic rock such as; Van Halen, Foo Fighters, Metallica, and many more.
The Wrench Monkeys are currently working with a new project that will be finished in a month or two. In the mean time, The Wrench Monkeys will perform for The Malheur County Fair from 6pm-8pm on August 6th, 2022. The Wrench Moneys would personally like to thank the community for the love and the overflowing amount of support, and to hopefully get performances outside of Idaho someday!
The Wrench Monkeys are a musically gifted group of young men and are thrilled to succeed in their music career! The Weiser community is beyond amazed of the hard work and determination of The Wrench Monkeys!
