Students from Pioneer Elementary’s 2nd grade classes recently took a special trip to Weiser Classic Candy to see firsthand how candy is made. Owner Patrick Nauman and Candy Maker Joe Wall generously shared their time, walking the students through the process and answering plenty of curious questions.
The highlight of the visit came when one student asked Patrick what made his candy taste so much better than others. With a smile, he replied, “Love is the special ingredient.” Each child left not only with new knowledge, but also with a special treat made with that love.
