New Business, Freedom Sprinklers

New Business, Freedom Sprinklers, Excited for Spring Season

Brand new business, Freedom Sprinklers, began not long ago in November of 2020.  Owner, Matt Erickson, had a successful start-up season during Christmas when they began offeringmake-and-install custom Christmas lighting.  Erickson is ready for spring to get here so they can dive into what their specialtyis, which is sprinkler systems.

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Matt Erickson has been an Idaho resident since 1999.  In 2012, he joined the United States Army, stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, with the intention of making it a career until retirement.  “Unfortunately, in 2014 I sustained injuries in Afghanistan and was medically discharged in 2015,” he shared.

Erickson and his wife have a hobby farm on the Weiser Flatts named Rockin’ E Sunset Farm with a variety of animals.  They specialize in butcher swine and pet mini pigs.  As a family theylove taking their horses and competing in play days, rodeos, trail riding, and working cows.  “We are also avid sportsmen being primarily bowhunters and fishermen.  We love helping and serving our beautiful community and like to contribute to the small-town feel,” Erickson commented.

Today, Erickson now has over 14 years of experience in the landscaping and irrigation industry.  He has extensive experience working in laborer positions, general management, and company ownership.  Over the years, Erickson found his true passion in irrigation and hydraulics.  With the love and support of his wife and two children, ages 11 and 1, Erickson decided to start his own company.

Freedom Sprinklers started out at the beginning of the winter season and Erickson saw a tremendous amount of support from the community.  Seeing a successful Christmas Light season amped him up for the upcoming spring season.  “We do lawn and pasture sprinkler system design, installation, maintenance, and repair.  This includes spring startups, tune-ups, and sprinkler blowouts.  Solar pumps and WiFi controllers are also available,” Erickson explained.  They also offer permanent eve lighting and during November and December, they offer make-and-install customized Christmas lighting.  “Our lights are fully customizable to cater to your desire.  We offer an array of discounts to include pre-pay discounts for those who pre-pay for services by April 1st.”

Freedom Sprinklers service the following areas:  Washington County, Payette County, Gem County, Canyon County and Malheur County areas.  FREE estimates are always available, as well.  To find out more, Freedom Sprinklers can be found on Google, Yelp, and Facebook.

SPECIAL PROMOTION:  All estimates that are signed and deposits are collected for full sprinkler system installation projects before March 31st, 2021 will receive a FREE WiFimodule with their time clock. This will allow remote operation of your sprinkler system via your smart phone.

Matt Erickson wishes to extend his gratitude to the community for their support thus far and he is looking forward to meeting and working with many new faces!
