The Weiser Robotics team competed in a tournament last Friday at Ridgevue High School, with 33 teams ready to compete. Weiser brought 3 teams. Here are the results!
* 9551A Team HIVE: placed 2nd out of the 33 teams in the qualification round. Partnered up with Weiser team 9551B for the bracket part of the tournament. Lost in the quarter finals.
* 9551B Team Slug: placed 9th in the qualification round. Lost in the quarter finals with partner team 9551A.
* 9551E Team Earl: place 21st in the qualification round. But, rallied to make it to the semi-finals where they lost a close match.
“I am so proud of these robotics students. The improvement in their robots from our last tournament is amazing. Weiser can be proud of their efforts, attitude, and the classy they way they represented our town, school, and their families,” commented Mr. Lundberg.
The next tournament will be at Vallivue High School on February 4th, 2022.
