Hilary Kile, RN has been selected as the interim Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Weiser Memorial Hospital (WMH). Hilary has been in nursing for 25 years and has been a nurse at WMH for 21 years. The CNO position was recently vacated by Jayme Skehan who chose to move back home to the east coast to tend to family matters.
“We are confident that Hilary will be a solid fit as interim CNO,” stated CEO Steve Hale. “She is a responsible, knowledgeable, and reliable nurse leader already. Hilary really embodies our values of integrity, compassion, and excellence.”
Kile’s passion and dedication to service through nursing comes from her upbringing in rural Idaho and her farm family. “I remember my parents were living examples of what it looked like to serve other people and to serve them well. I have always viewed the example as something to live up to,” she stated.
The Chief Nursing Officer is the highest nursing leadership position available at Weiser Memorial Hospital. They oversee the nursing staff across the different service lines as well as administrative duties. Kile has continually worked to advance her skills and has held several leadership positions already at WMH.
“I am honored by this opportunity. My hope is to utilize what I have learned over the past 21 years while working at WMH to give back to my coworkers, our patients, and the community,” stated Kile. “I approach this with a heart for service.”
