This Fourth of July, join the celebrations in Weiser as the community comes together for a series of events honoring Independence Day.
From early morning festivities to a spectacular fireworks display, Weiser is set to provide a memorable experience for all ages.
Kick off your day with a FREE Community Breakfast at Weiser’s City Park from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. It’s a perfect way as the day’s celebrations begin, to gather with friends and neighbors.
Next, gear up for the Veterans March. Lineup starts at the historic Train Depot at 10:30 AM and the March begins at 11:00 AM.
This event invites veterans who wish to march, while those who prefer can ride in a military vehicle or float.
In a big show of community spirit, children are encouraged to decorate their bikes, and others can spruce up cars or floats to join the procession. Spectators lining State Street are invited to follow along as the parade concludes with a brief program and a flag ceremony, paying tribute to those who have served our country.
Once the march has concluded, head over to Memorial Park for a FREE Community BBQ. Hosted by the City Of Weiser and sponsored by The LOR Foundation and Ridley’s Family Market, this gathering promises great food and even better company as the community comes together to celebrate.
After enjoying some quality time with family and friends, prepare for the grand finale of the evening: the Community Fireworks display!
Set to light up the night sky around 10:30 PM, the fireworks promise to be a stunning sight, funded by the generous contributions from community members.
A heartfelt “thank you” goes out to all who have supported this Weiser tradition.
From all of us at Living In The News, we wish you a safe and wonderful Independence Day!
