100 Years of Lions

Approximately, 55 Lions welcomed the 2016-2017 Lions International President, Chancellor Bob Corlew (Tennessee) when he arrived at the Boise Airport on October 6.
This was followed by several Lions from Multiple District 39 (Comprised of 39W and 39E districts.) attending a luncheon held at the BSU Steuckle Sky Center.  BSU President, Bob Kustra, also attended the luncheon.  Following the luncheon, Lions visited the Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation’s vision clinic. A Lions Centennial Project ribbon cutting was held at the clinic. A photo was taken for the Lions magazine. The Lions International President gave his theme pins to all in attendance. Later, a banquet was held at the Riverside Hotel.  We were honored to have Int’l President, Chancellor Bob Corlew, visit Idaho, as this was the one of the few visit to our state by a Int’l President while in office.
