Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health program challenged Idaho lawmakers to participate in the annual “Steps for Schools” walking challenge

In February, the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health program challenged Idaho lawmakers to participate in the annual “Steps for Schools” walking challenge. The event is meant to promote health and the importance of physical activity.

State Representative Jacyn Gallagher participated again this year and by walking 5000 steps a day for the month of February was able to raise $500 for Treasure Valley Classical Academy in Fruitland.

Rep. Gallagher, “It’s an honor to encourage physical activity for Idaho’s children and to support such a great school”.
