At Busy Bees Toddler and Infant Care,we discover, play, explore and learn in new ways, every day. We believe that Children learn by doing, playing and making. This is why we do not have a TV in our Center. We are busy all day, Learning through play. We dance it out, we run outside, we love to read, we plant gardens and we love to paint and create.
Our Mission is to provide quality childcare for our community, while using a hands on, child led, learning approach. We believe that children learn best when they are allowed to put their hands in it and figure it out, with guidance and help when needed. We follow a Montessori themed approach and try to incorporate the Montessori Method in our every day activities. We welcome any parent that wants to see what we are about to come and hang out for a bit, we love having company.
We are a proud no screen time center, we don’t have a TV anywhere in the center. We are here to play and learn and grow, so that is what we do. If you come to visit, it may be loud because we are being kids, playing and learning.
We potty train! We will encourage and support you and your child during this process and we do not require kids to be potty trained to start Preschool. Every child is different and we get that. We are a Licensed Large Center. We accept ages 0-5, or when a child enters Kindergarten. We accept Drop in Care as well. We offer Summer care for Children to age 10, limited spots available. We have Cameras in every room, and they are monitored throughout the day. Sensory Room with Calming Space for kiddos who may feel overwhelmed or overstimulated. Staff takes 20 hours of Early Childhood Training, yearly. We are also training in helping children with ASD and we have teachers that work one on one with our ASD friends. Our Hours: We are open 6:30-6:00pm
All meals, snacks and drinks are included in Tuition.
All Meals and Snacks are prepared daily by Ms. Ashley. We strive to use only the freshest ingredients and serve fresh fruits and veggies with every meal. You can rest easy knowing that your child is receiving a healthy, balanced meal that is free from processed foods and harmful dyes, chemicals and preservatives.
We utilize a free to you, Parent App that allows you to stay connected to us and your child while you are away.
Each family receives 7 unpaid Calendar days a year to utilize for vacation.
We are licensed through the State of Idaho and accept ICCP Families.
Everyone at the Center is Background Checked and CPR and First aid certified.
If there is ever an incident at our center, all parents will be notified and kept in the loop. We are a transparent center who believes the parent has the right to know important things and we have a responsibility to keep you informed at all times.
Ones Room
Ms. Summer, Ms. Natalie, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Aurora
Our Ones room one of the funniest rooms in this building. These babies are doing it all and exploring the world around them every day. They build, paint, climb and read books. The teachers in this room are attentive and kind. They sing, dance and play right along with the kids every day.
Preschool
Ms. Meadow, Ms. Kaela and Ms. Melodee
Our Preschool Program is a hands on, play-based program. Our teachers follow a Play Curriculum and it is a 2 year program. Children are moved up as they’re ready instead of at age 4. This has allowed for us to teach them so much and they love every second of it. We have no boring days at Busy Bees. We do not have a TV in our center so screen time is replaced with hands on learning and playing.
Twos Room
Ms. Holly, Ms. Sylvia, Ms. Tori
Our Twos room is ready to learn it all and boy do they keep us on our toes. Ms. Holly is a fun teacher and is always doing activities. Her circle time routine includes a lesson on counting in Spanish and English, days of the week and Months of the year. This class is fun, and they learn through play every day! We do not have any Screen time, but we dance it out, play outside and make messes every day. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Infant Room
Ms. Morgan, Ms. Tiff, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Katie
We are very proud of our infant room. Our teachers are truly the best and we keep it small so every baby can have one on one time. We do lots of tummy time and fine motor activities with the babies. We have no screen time in the baby room, so the teachers are always engaging with and interacting with them. Ms. Morgan is the mom of 1 amazing 2 year old, Ms. Tiff has 4 boys and Ms. Katie has an energetic 1 year old girl.
