Cambridge Commercial Club Cleaning Highway 95 With Friends

By Jennifer Burdick

Early this year the Cambridge Commercial Club adopted a section of Highway US 95 surrounding Cambridge, Milepost 113.4-116.  They are required to clean up their section twice a year.

On October 4th the Commercial Club held their second highway cleanup of 2023. It was held in conjunction with the Cambridge Economic Task Force that was also doing a town cleanup.  The Commercial Club spent two hours with 21 volunteers collecting 22 bags of trash from their three miles of  Highway 95.

The Cambridge Commercial Club would like to thank all of the volunteers, adults, school groups and especially the children that came out to clean up the town and Highway.

The next Highway clean up will be in the Spring of 2024.  If you are interested in volunteering or looking for community service centered activities please email cambridgeidaho@gmail.com.
