Cambridge FFA Chapter to Award the Reed Thulander Memorial Scholarship at Upcoming Banquet

The Cambridge FFA Chapter along with the Thulander family is excited to announce that the first scholarships will be awarded on April 20th, 2021 at the Cambridge FFA Banquet.

Reed Thulander was an active member of the Cambridge FFA program for his 4 years at Cambridge High School. Reed participated in multiple CDE’s and was always willing to help with events. Reed was a friend to all, and had the ability to make new friends throughout his short time. To honor Reed, the Cambridge FFA, along with the family of Reed Thulander, has established an FFA memorial scholarship in Reed’s name.  Reed lost his life tragically on January 1st, 2021. As current and past Cambridge students, friends and family of Reed continue to mourn his passing, this memorial scholarship will allow his memory to be a part of the Cambridge FFA Chapter for years to come.

Cambridge FFA members are currently submitting an essay addressing the following question: “Explain a significant event or time in your life that you helped fellow students or members of your community.”

Scholarship money can be used toward students enrolled in a college or university, a trade school, or any educational opportunity to gain skills for employment after graduation.

A total of $11,080 has been received to create this memorial scholarship fund. The goal of the family is to allow students to receive scholarships for the next 10 years.

The following individuals have made memorials to the scholarship fund in the memorial of Reed Thulander.   Thank you for honoring Reed with your contributions.
