Dove Hearing Center began as a mobile hearing clinic that provides services throughout the rural communities of Southwestern Idaho, Central Idaho, and parts of Oregon. In 2019, the brick-and-mortar office was first built in Emmett, Idaho. For several years now, Dove Hearing Center has provided mobile services to Weiser. Owners Dustin L. Dove and Rachel L. Clark shared that they fell in love with the Weiser community and its people.
“While chatting and getting to know local Weiser folk, we found there was an apparent need for hearing services beyond what our mobile clinic could offer. So, we decided to build a permanent office and become a part of the wonderful Weiser community to better serve everyone here! The idea and building of the new office have been in play for about a year,” they shared.
Dustin L. Dove has been a licensed hearing provider for over 15 years and Rachel L. Clark has worked in the medical field for over 10 years, advocating for patients and ensuring optimal care. When asked about their personal likes, they shared that they love to find adventure outdoors, especially finding and exploring new places in the Idaho wilderness. They enjoy rockhounding, hiking, hot springs hunting, camping, and fishing. Rachel loves to participate in community softball teams and coach her young sons.
“We have established Dove Hearing Center to provide unrestricted, trustworthy, and quality hearing care to the communities we love. We believe better hearing is so important to connect with our loved ones and the great outdoors. We are local, family owned and operated small business and believe that you are more than just a client – but rather our friends and family,” the owners commented. They offer comprehensive hearing assessments, advanced hearing aid technology, hearing aid services and repairs, and help with maintaining ear health.
Dove Hearing Center is located at 318 State St., Weiser, ID and current hours are by appointment only between 9am and 5pm Monday through Thursday until the grand opening, which will be coming up in late January. “However, if we are in the office, anyone is welcome to swing on in and say hi!” they shared. For now, the “soft opening” of the office will give them time to work out the kinks and be ready for a grand opening celebration.
