Elks lodge #1690 in Ontario, Oregon partnered with the local FA GroupFor New Years Fundraiser

Elks lodge #1690 in Ontario, Oregon partnered with the local FA group; both non profit organizations, hosting a New Year’s Eve charity fundraising event December 31,2023. The night was a success raising over $30,000. It was a full house filled with fun, family, food, music, live, silent and dessert auctions. On behalf of the Elks and the FA group a true heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who donated and attended this event. Without the support of the local communities events like this wouldn’t be possible.

This Saturday, the Elks Lodge in Ontario will be hosting a first responders community service awards banquet; prime rib dinner $10 per person 6pm at the Lodge. The Lodge asks that you to come down have dinner and support your first responders serving Washington county , Payette county, Malheur, county, and Canyon county. Guest speakers include the Mayor of Ontario Debbie Folden, Mayor of Payette Craig Jensen and Idaho State representative Jacyn Gallagher.

Did you know that you can visit your local Elks Lodge three times for dinners and events before becoming a member? The Elks Lodge is a private club, founded on the principles of charity justice, brotherly love, and Fidelity. Elk members are a close family of volunteers within the community who donate their time and give back to those in need with the motto Elks care Elks share. Elk members support veterans, national Memorial state projects, children through scholarships hoop shoot, drug awareness, the American, essay contest, dictionary project, and the antlers program. Elk members give selflessly to the community on a regular basis, helping others in need whenever they can. The first Elks Lodge opened in the year 1868 with only male members. In 1995 the lodge changed their bylaws to allow female membership. The local Ontario , Oregon Lodge consist of members throughout Malheur and Payette county. Each lodge has a one time annual membership fee just over $100 which allows your spouse to attend events with you.
