The Weiser Rural Fire Department was paged at 10:43 to 1011 W Galloway Avenue for a shed on fire. It was fully engulfed at the time of the call. The renter was using a forge and some sparks started the fire. (11/18/23 at 10:45 am)

Payette Schools recently held a Junior Chamber of Commerce event where summer school students created their own businesses within the Treasure Valley. This summer's focus was on entrepreneurship, with students developing various business ideas and even creating custom business cards and t-shirts.
