Hello Weiser! We’re the owners of Funkyhouse Vintage and we’re so excited to share our family’s labor of love with you starting this Saturday, May 13th at our grand opening at 312 State St! We are a family that loves the thrill of the hunt! Collecting & upcycling vintage & antique goods is where our passion runs deep, there’s just something about the nostalgia of simpler times and quality goods that makes our hearts melt. While we’ve successfully built an online store and presence over the years, a brick and mortar here in John’s home town has been a dream of ours since day one. Sharing our passion with the town, giving back to our community and bringing smiles to the faces of those around us is our idea of success.
While we knew we wanted a brick and mortar, we had a very specific idea of what that would look like. For us, shopping vintage and antique is an experience, it’s saying to yourself “oh my word, my grandma had this in her living room growing up!” or “I wanted one of these so bad when I was a kid!” It’s emotional, it’s raw. We wanted to give our town a place that they could go to feel that familiarity of days gone by. Because of this, Funkyhouse Vintage isn’t just another antique store, we are setup to be an experience.
