At approximately 11:35 am (8/6/21) Weiser City Fire was paged out to respond to a report of a natural gas line that was hit by someone digging in the ally behind Weiser Hospital.
The fire department responded to secure the scene and to advise the surrounding homes in the area of what was going on.
Intermountain gas was called to come make the repairs. The company digging did call dig line but still hit the gas line.
Just remember to always call dig line before you dig anything around your house. The gas was secured and the fire department was released by intermountain gas.
