We’re thrilled to announce that tickets are now available for the highly anticipated 2024 Weiser Chamber of Commerce Annual Crab Feed and Auction, set to take place on April 6th. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with an array of exciting offerings lined up for attendees.
One of the most exciting updates for this year’s event is the inclusion of Tara from the newly opened Tara’s Place as our chef. Tara is eager to ensure that everyone enjoys their dining experience to the fullest, promising quick service and delectable dishes including her renowned ribs and crab, along with freshly baked rolls.
To streamline the event further, we’ve partnered with Baker Auction and Auction Frog for ticket sales and check-in/check-out processes, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. With a proven track record handling large-scale events like Weiser’s Festival of Trees and the Ontario Chamber’s ONTCCY, Auction Frog guarantees efficiency and security, making registration a breeze.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. The auction lineup is nothing short of spectacular, featuring a diverse range of items generously donated by locals and local businesses. Highlights include a thrilling plane ride over the valley courtesy of Jim Metzger, you can also bid on an opportunity to invent your own candy and have your very own custom candy-making experience at Weiser Classic Candy by Patrick Nauman, and personalized metal sign crafted by Big Creek Metal Works who made both welcome to Weiser signs, by Josh and Laura Foster, among many other enticing offerings.
For those with a penchant for holiday cheer, get ready for a surprise! Bid for a private visit from none other than Santa Claus himself, scheduled through his personal friend Joe Malay. And for those who prefer a touch of mischief, a private visit from the Grinch, arranged by his friend Bryan Hewitt, is also up for grabs. Both of these can be purchased for the family, organization or business.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. From practical services like a Bare Ground Service from Altus Pest Control, a fence from three businesses, Weiser Fence & Lumber, Starke Fencing & Remodeling and Fence Up 208, heated camping chairs from Weiser Memorial Hospital, a freezer from People’s Furniture, 50lbs of meat from Ford Ranches to a unique items from Smith Auto of Weiser, there’s something for everyone at this year’s auction.
