Governor Little’s “Operation Esto Perpetua” Treasure Valley Roundtable Will Be Held At The Vendome Event Center In Weiser Idaho

Governor Little’s “Operation Esto Perpetua” Treasure Valley Roundtable will be held at the Vendome Event Center, 309 State St, Weiser, from 1:30 p.m to 4:00 p.m.

Public testimony is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and share their experiences with fentanyl and methamphetamine in the community.

Idaho faces a growing drug threat. Meth and fentanyl seizures have dramatically increased in Idaho and across the country, and parents need assurances their children will be safe.

To meaningfully reduce the flow of fentanyl and methamphetamine into the State of Idaho.

Operation Esto Perpetua includes both a Law Enforcement Panel and a Citizens Action Group on Fentanyl. 

Beginning the week of March 14, 2022, the Citizens Action Group on Fentanyl will meet biweekly throughout the state over two months. The Governor’s Office will announce meeting details when they are available.

They will hear from local law enforcement as well as members of the public about their loved ones’ experiences with fentanyl and meth. 

The Citizens Action Group will take input and comments from the public at each stop.

After the Citizens Action Group completes its work, it will provide a report with recommendations, and then the Law Enforcement Panel will identify action items to make our communities safer.

The public may also submit comments about their loved ones’ experiences with fentanyl and meth by e-mailing Governor Little at governor@gov.idaho.gov.
