Dear Editor,
By the time we the Citizens of the Several States of The USA are of voting age we have usually developed an intelligent deportment attitude. The source of the influence for that development is as diversified as the Citizenry itself. Among the sources, it is hoped, are 1. The Holy Bible, 2. The Declaration of Independence, 3. The Constitution of the USA, and 4. each Individual’s common Sense.
The “every second year” election will be offered this rapidly approaching November no matter how contorted the Bureaucrats and State Legislatures have made it. Duty is the subject of this missive.
In the Preamble of our Constitution, We The People (WTP) are saddled with the primary duty of insuring the Constitutional administration of a brand new Nation. Read, study, & scrutinize the Language “We the People of the United States, — , do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Now to Article VI, where the Declaration of Independence is declared a part & parcel of our new Constitution; plus: “This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof, —, shall be the supreme Law of the Land”; —
Back to Article I, sections 2, & 3, the Constitutional term limits for Congress, administered by the people of the several States. “The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen “every second Year” by the People of the several States, —. The Senate shall be divided into three classes, —, “so that one third may be chosen “every second Year”.
In short, this is our DUTY: never vote for an incumbent Legislator until they have returned our Governing policies strictly to our Constitutional dictates; this goes for State Governance as well as Federal.
