Meet Our Staff

Theresa Rasmussen-Editor

Thereasa is a Weiser native and Weiser High graduate. She married her high school sweetheart and they chose to raise their three children in their hometown of Weiser. Thereasa enjoyed journalism classes in high school and photography has always been a fun and rewarding hobby for her. Her other love is  working with children and for the last 17 years she has worked in the public education system working with students in intervention classes, after school programs and through the McKinney-Vento program.

Thereasa has worked for Living In The News off and on for the last five years and in  2022 she decided it was time to make some changes. She resigned from her position in education and signed on to be Living In The News’ new Editor. Thereasa continues to substitute for local schools, but is enjoying working with the Living In The News team as well as having a more flexible schedule to travel, help family and enjoy her hobby of photography.
