Local Masonic Lodge Promotes Reading with “Books for Bikes” Program

In an innovative initiative to encourage literacy, the Weiser Masonic Lodge has launched the “Books for Bikes” program, aimed at helping students improve their reading skills. Participating students earn a ticket for each book they read throughout the school year. At the end of the year, two lucky winners are drawn to receive a new bicycle and a helmet.

Today, at Pioneer Elementary School, excitement filled the air as two students were announced as this year’s winners. The program not only fosters a love for reading but also rewards academic achievement, making reading a thrilling adventure for young learners. The Masonic Lodge is proud to support the community and inspire the next generation of readers.
