Friday, May 24th volunteers helped place flags on headstones and raised the flags along Hillcrest Cemetery entrance. The Weiser Elks spearheaded this event and were grateful for the community members and groups like Arrow Heart Adventure Camp and 21st Century 4-H Club that came to help. Volunteers were served hotdogs provided by the Elks Club after all the flags were placed.
The Elks could use help removing the flags after the Memorial Day Holiday. They plan to meet at the cemetery on Tuesday, May 28th at 10am.
