18-month-old twins discovered deceased in Payette Home
On May 1, 2025, at approximately 11:28 am, Payette Police Department Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of North 9th Street, regarding a possibly deceased child.
Upon arrival at the residence, officers discovered two 18-month-old twins deceased in a shared bed.
Foul play is suspected, and the incident is being handled as a homicide at this time. Interviews are being conducted, and autopsies are scheduled for Friday, May 2nd at the Ada County Medical Examiners Office.
The Idaho State Police Forensics team responded to the scene to assist in evidence collection.
