Ryndon Olsen, a seasoned senior kicker, has officially committed to North Dakota State College of Science, solidifying his future in collegiate football. Throughout his high school career, Olsen has consistently demonstrated his mastery in kickoffs and punts. In his junior year, he showcased his skills with 65 kickoffs, covering an impressive total of 3,476 yards, averaging 53.5 yards per kick. Despite encountering challenges, including a lack of touchbacks, Olsen persisted and continued to refine his technique. In his senior year, he elevated his game, contributing 70 kickoffs for an outstanding 3,897 yards, boasting an impressive average of 55.7 yards per kick. Over his varsity tenure, Olsen has amassed a total of 135 kickoffs, totaling 7,373 yards at an average distance of 54.6 yards, highlighting his consistency and strength in this specialized facet of the sport. In addition to his kicking abilities, Olsen has proven proficiency in punting, particularly in his senior campaign, where he recorded 12 punts for a total of 343 yards, maintaining a solid average of 28.6 yards per punt. With two punts placed inside the 20-yard line, Olsen’s overall performance underscores his significance as a valuable asset to his team, and his commitment to North Dakota State College of Science heralds an exciting chapter in his football journey.
