Sarah Jensen was born and raised in Weiser, Idaho. Inspired by her older sister who did pageants when she was young, Jensen has competed in pageants for 4 years. “I love the pageant atmosphere,” she shared, after attending Miss Western Idaho and absolutely loved it. She has competed at ages 18, 19, 23, and 25.
This year was her last journey to the Miss Idaho pageant as Jensen has decided to officially retire. Her mother, Margaret Jensen, shared on social media, “I am so proud of how she has grown and matured over the years. Think what you might about pageants, but as a mom of two young ladies who have navigated their way through the pageant world, I am a believer in what these programs do for developing wonderful women.”
The experience at Miss Idaho 2021 was “an incredible experience,” she shared. Jensen received the preliminary talent award, the preliminary social impact/onstage question aware, and a top 6 placement! She also won $1,500 in scholarships that will be going towards her Grad school plans for the fall of 2021.
Jensen always has a kind smile, positive attitude, and integrity in everything she does. Anyone who knows her can vouch for the talent, intelligence, and positive impact she presents to the world. Jensen is currently a teacher in Middleton for 7th grade math. She graduated in 2018 from Washington State and will attend Grad school at BSU in a couple of months.
Weiser is proud of you, Sarah!
