In an impressive display of talent and determination, the Small Town Wrestling Club made waves at the recent 2024 Idaway State Championship held in Idaho Falls.
The Weiser based club, representing several towns in the Treasure Valley community, captured the attention of spectators by clinching the second spot as a team out of a competitive field of 67 teams.
The Small Town Wrestling Club’s performance was nothing short of outstanding, boasting an impressive lineup of skilled athletes. The team celebrated an impressive tally of achievements, with an astounding 10 state champions emerging victorious. Additionally, the club secured 9 wrestlers in second place, 6 in third place, 3 in fourth place, and 3 in fifth place, exemplifying the depth of talent within their ranks. Two wrestlers also achieved commendable placements in sixth position, highlighting the club’s overall strong showing throughout the tournament.
