Spring Auction Fundraiser & Idaho Gives Begins Soon!

The highly anticipated spring event is nearly here! Angel Wings Network, Inc is once again hosting an online auction open to the public beginning April 22nd and ending May 2nd. This event is one of two major fundraisers this local nonprofit presents each year to raise money for their programs. You won’t want to miss out on this.

For those who are not familiar with Angel Wings Network, Inc, the nonprofit is based in Weiser, Idaho, at the dead end of Main St., tucked away in the corner in a small office where they make big things happen. At 773 W. Main St., you will find some of the most dedicated volunteers you will ever meet, working to provide free support and services to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones in our local rural communities. Angel Wings serves within a 70-mile radius of Weiser, which includes more than 17 rural communities. Everything they provide to their clients is 100% free of charge.

So far, in 2024, Angel Wings has given more than $6,000 in gas cards on behalf of cancer clients, over $1,300 in grocery cards and restaurant meal cards, and 10 emergency food boxes were prepared and delivered. Volunteers have logged over 3,500 miles of driving on behalf of cancer clients and over 900 volunteer hours logged.

In conjunction with the Spring Auction Fundraiser, Angel Wings also participates in Idaho Gives, a statewide giving campaign that encourages Idahoans to give back to local nonprofits. This is a great way to raise monetary donations alongside the auction for those who might not find something they want in the auction. With this two-part fundraiser campaign, supporters can contribute to raising funds that will directly impact the rural communities where we live and work. The volunteers at Angel Wings have received some fantastic items for the auction this year! They wish to thank everyone who donated items, packages, certificates, and their time in helping with this huge event. It takes a tremendous amount of hours to prepare and they are excited to get the show going! They have packages for everyone! There are also “Steal a Package” Raffle Tickets available. The winner of the raffle will get to “steal” any ONE package of their choosing the day BEFORE the auction closes.
