Wear your Island digs and come have some fun at our 9th Annual Fundraiser which will feature a Hawaiian Luau theme! We will be roasting a pig with traditional Hawaiian side dishes done by S & A BBQ Catering out of Cambridge Idaho and the bar will be hosted by Legends on Main from Weiser. There will be a live and silent auction with music by The Ukeladies from Boise playing some fun Island music.
Surviving Hearts Cancer Support Group is a non profit servicing Adams, Washington, Payette, Malhuer, Baker, Wallowa and Union counties with financial assistance to those in need doing cancer treatment in Fruitland, Idaho. Providing basic needs when going through a diagnosis like cancer is vital to positive results and recovery. We have spent hundreds and hundreds of volunteer hours towards this goal. We provide gift bags to St. Luke’s for every new patient and this year alone we filled 150 bags. The need is great and we are committed to helping those in need of assistance with things like gas cards, food, car repairs so they can get to treatment, power bill, gift cards for necessities that insurance may not cover and many other things that arise unexpectedly. We have provided Thanksgiving meals and Christmas dinners and packages under the tree for those who need a lift.
Over the years Surviving Hearts has raised money to help build the St. Luke’s Respite House in Fruitland Idaho. A home away from home for cancer patients to stay while doing treatment in Fruitland. A $1.6 million dollar facility with four private rooms with gardens, a common living area, full kitchen which Surviving Hearts fully outfitted and five RV spaces with hookups.
This fundraiser helps us provide those services and hope you will participate in the fun night and be a part of giving back to those going through this journey.
 April 27th the night begins at 4:00pm with the bar opening and dinner served at 5:00pm live auction to follow.
