On Thursday, April 4th, Alex Madrid and Lahela Bartolome, the two recipients of the McCain Family Scholarship signed their letter of intent to College of Idaho. Alex and Lahela were joined by their family and the school as they signed during this important day.
The McCain Family Scholarship is a competitive, full-tuition, four year scholarship to The College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho. Two scholarships are available annually, one awarded to a Payette High School senior, the other to a senior attending a public rural school in the Treasure Valley. This year, C of I had 2 winners from Payette, which hasn’t happened since 2016.
Lahela plans to major in Business Administration when she attends. She doesn’t plan to play any sports.
Alex plans to major in something in the Medical Field. He also doesn’t plan to play any sports in college.
Congrats to both these outstanding students in earning the full-ride McCain Scholarship!!
