C. Scott Green is the 19th president of the University of Idaho, taking office back in July of 2019. According to the University website, President Green was born in Moscow, graduated from Boise High, and followed up with his degree from the University of Idaho. He is a third-generation Vandal with high accomplishments in global finance, operations, and administration. Green also went on to attend Harvard Business School.
President Green visits different areas around the state of Idaho to chat with local folks, extension office personnel, and talk with Vandal boosters. The Washington County office recently reached out to find out if President Green would be doing any traveling and they were excited to find out that he was coming soon for a visit. Vandal alumni gathered at Ruszoni’s Pizzeria today to have lunch with President Green. Jim Reed commented that they had a great lunch and visits from the University of Idaho President are always valued and appreciated.
