Monday, February 13th at the monthly City Council meeting the council nominated and then voted in council member Layna Hafer as the new City Council President. This position holds the responsibility of acting in the place of the mayor when absent. The president will need to stay in touch with all the business at hand so when called to fill in they will be up to date in any pertinent information.
The Mayor’s committee and commission appointments were also voted on. Below is a list of the committees and commissions with the council members who will be the city liaison for them.
