Weiser High School 2022 Talent Show

Written By Aryssa Aburto

The Weiser High School performed their talent show for 2022, showcasing some fun and very talented individuals.  Starting the night off was Sophie Williams with her wonderful piano and beautiful vocals. Elizabeth, a solo violinist, was accompanied by a pianist. New student, Claire Woodruff, really made her voice be heard, sharing that the vocals make her feel a part of something.

Emma Tolman captivated the crowd with her favorite song from Wicked, leaving the crowd stunned and wanting more. Halo Blanchard sang a special song that had been shared with her by her grandfather, who had also taught the song to Halo’s father.

Emma Kaprielian had the audience rolling with laughter, sharing her talent for stand-up comedy.  Colyer Chandler sang from the heart, sharing the song “Love Gone.” Hannah Pomo and her dad sang a song called “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps” and not only did she sing it well, but she also sang the song in Spanish. Ella Terry wrote an original song about teenage heartbreak.  Riggin Roberts blew the audience away with his electric guitar performance.

Molly Price and Roma Walker performed a scene from “Napoleon Dynamite.”   Molly played the character Pedro and Roma played Napoleon.  Rilynn Strasser played the piano and sang a song called “Welcome to Wonderland.” Ellie Eames sang an original song about a third-grade romance with her ukulele.

The 2022 talent show concluded with Daniel Rodrigues and Emma Tolman singing a duet from the play “Beauty and the Beast,” featuring the song “ME.”  Their duet was a little taste of what the community can expect from the high school theater play coming up in April.  They will be performing Beauty and the Beast on April 29th and 30th

The Weiser High School students wish to thank everyone for coming out to cheer on and support the talent show!
