Weiser High’s Construction Students Attend the Home Depot Construction Combine

Tuesday, April 29th the Weiser High School construction classes level 2 and 3 attended the annual Home Depot Construction Combine in Meridian, Idaho. Local construction businesses attended along with about 120 students, 32 from Weiser. The students along with the businesses built sheds for handicap Military Veterans for this year’s project. Each student received about $100 or more of free tools, swag and prizes. Jon Lundberg, Weiser High Construction Teacher, shared, “It was a fantastic day for our WHS advanced construction students. They were able to learn and connect with over 20 local construction companies who are looking for potential employees.  We saw a lot, did a lot, experienced a lot and won a lot of stuff.”
