On Thursday and Friday of last week, the Weiser Lions performed vision testing on 101 incoming kindergartners at Pioneer School. Using high-tech equipment owned by the Weiser Lions and two other Lions clubs, the camera takes only seconds to determine if the child should be referred to an eye professional for further testing. In addition to the vision screening, school personnel tested the children’s hearing using equipment owned by the same three Lions clubs.
