Weiser, ID – July 2023: Weiser Memorial Hospital’s (WMH) Surgical & Specialty Clinic will once again offer orthopedic services with the arrival of Dr. Matthew Kai Elliott. Dr. Elliott will begin scheduling appointments in July and start seeing patients August 7, 2023.
“Dr. Elliott comes highly recommended and has already been very easy to work with as we get everything prepped for his arrival,” commented Steve Hale, CEO. “We are excited to bring him on board and know our community will benefit greatly from his services here at Weiser Memorial Hospital,” Hale continued.
Dr. Elliott is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who has been practicing general orthopedics and sports medicine for the last 9 years at a level 3 Trauma Center in Moses Lake, Washington.
He chose to make the move for a variety of reasons, but the community of Weiser had a special pull. “My family and I are very excited to be a part of the Weiser community. So far, we’ve received a very warm welcome,” commented Dr. Elliott. “My wife, Christina, and I both grew up in Wendell, Idaho, so Weiser is close to home and is the type of place we’re happy to bring our family to.”
Dr. Elliott will offer 3 clinic days and 2 surgery days a week to assist patients with orthopedic needs ranging from pain and injury to total joint replacements and other surgeries. These will include anterior hip, knee, and shoulder replacements as well as knee scopes and shoulder scopes. Dr. Elliott also practices sports medicine. Surgeries will be done at Weiser Memorial Hospital and most insurances are accepted.
Weiser Memorial Hospital’s Surgical & Specialty Clinic has been serving our community since 1986 and houses physicians offering specialized medicine. They work closely with primary care providers to ensure patients can access these services close to home. To learn more, visit www.weisermemorialhospital.org.
