Wednesday, June 14th West Point cadets visited Weiser Middle School during the school’s STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) Camp. The cadets were visiting the school to help inspire students to get interested in mathematics, science and technology.
One of the ways the cadets worked with kids was through robots. Students were able to build a robot and then use iPads to program their robots using code. Students were also introduced to electrical engineering and given the opportunity to learn to solder.
