WHS Welcomes New Auto Teacher, Mr. Warner

By KA Prado-May

Weiser High School recently acquired a new teacher, Mr. Warner.  Former instructor, Mr. Hicks, had to leave the position due to personal reasons, leaving the auto program needing a new teacher.  That’s when Mr. Warner was hired to fill the position. He has extensive experience with cars being a master mechanic. He also founded MLC Fleet Maintenance. His favorite color is a bright shiny green and favorite food is pear-apples. He also has his own truck he refurbished himself.

Warner is very excited to share his passion for cars with his students.  Before coming to Weiser High School, he worked with students one-on-one with senior projects.  Now he is adjusting to the new position of teaching a class.  He has been very passionate about cars since he was a teen and hopes instill some of that passion in his students.

Warner says that he wants to bring something new to the auto program and teach it his own way.  He plans to teach his students in a well-rounded fashion so as to incorporate much of his personal experience.
