Wicked Things Coming to Weiser, in a Good Way

December 19, 2023

By Brooke Curtiss

As many of you have seen or heard, Wicked Wrench Garage and Automotive out of Fruitland is establishing a location right here in the heart of Weiser. Wicked Wrench was established in September of 2021 as a mobile only service. Since then, their path has changed dramatically. In April 2022, Wicked Wrench opened a shop, brick and mortar, location in Fruitland basing their entire business on “small town values, big city skills.”

Their new location will live by the same motto according to the owners. They are splitting the owners and current technicians between Weiser and Fruitland and will build from there. One thing they strive for is always having a team of people that takes ownership in what they do and the work they provide. “We want our team to have a ‘dog in the fight’ and take as much pride in what they do as we do in them,” said owner, Brooke Curtiss.

The owners certainly have a dog in this fight because they live in Weiser (near Mann Creek Reservoir) and have children that attend Weiser Schools as well as are involved in 4H and other local sports and recreation. Additionally, one technician and his family live in Weiser and another of their technicians is from Weiser and has family that lives in Weiser.

Wicked Wrench has been involved with and donated to multiple causes and events within Weiser and many other nearby towns. They sponsor the Weiser Mud Drags, Weiser High School (in several ways respectively), and the Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation Festival of Trees. They have donated repairs to families in need and support local students as well. Wicked Wrench also has plans to be involved with the Auto Tech program at Weiser High School and are in communication with Mr. Winton, the Auto Tech teacher. They have had Weiser High School Auto Tech students complete their job shadow for their senior project at their Fruitland location as well.

The owners state they will offer all the same services at their Weiser location as they do in Fruitland and will continue to offer the same great service and best value for your dollar. Wicked Wrench offers most auto, truck and SUV services and repairs, from oil changes to transmission swaps. They will offer the added customization options as well such as lift kits, lowering kits, aftermarket heavy duty/off-road bumpers, coil overs, air bags, and much more.

Wicked Wrench Garage and Automotive’s new location will be 63 E. Court St., next to Ruszoni’s. The phone number will be available in the next couple of weeks. Their plan is to open February 5, 2024, and have a community open house on February 2, 2024. The location will begin scheduling in mid-January. For more information or to be one of the first to see new information and exciting new deals, like their page on Facebook at Wicked Wrench Garage and Automotive (careful of the scams out there). We hear there may be some deals for the first customers to make appointments.

The last statement from the owners today, “We want to thank the Weiser community for welcoming us so warmly and we want to ensure that we will always show you the small-town love that Weiser is known for. We plan to be more involved in the community and local schools even more then we are now.”
