It’s Girl Scout Cookie Season!
Weiser has new Girl Scout Troops this season and they are excited to sell some cookies! With every box of cookies purchased, you are supporting our local troops and their ability to learn, grow, and experience many different adventures and programs. Girl Scouts are far more than just cookie sellers! But this is their major fundraiser that supports their adventures throughout the season.
Girl Scouts learn a great deal when selling cookies. They learn about how to run a business, how to take on a task with confidence, and set goals for themselves. Most people have had a girl scout cookie in their lifetime and know how delicious they are! The program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program for girls in the world! For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts have used cookie earnings to make positive change in the world.
Cookies available this year: Adventurefuls (NEW!), lemon-ups, trefoils, samosa, tagalongs, thin mints, girl scout s’mores, and toffee-tastic! Cookies have NO high-fructose, NO PHO’s, zero grams trans fat per serving, RSPO Certified Palm Oil, and Halal certification.
Digital Cookie Sales are happening NOW! What is great about digital sales is you can purchase your cookies online, pay online, and have them delivered to your door or shipped directly to you. With shipping, cookies are sent a lot faster! The “official” cookie season begins January 14th, 2022. Due to privacy reasons, we are unable to share names of the Girl Scouts who are participating in the cookie program. However, folks can visit the local Facebook page and find the Cookie Sellers post for a list of girls who are selling cookies and how to get ahold of them! There will NOT be booth sales this year for our Weiser troops. So, if you want cookies, be sure to purchase digitally or find a local scout to help you get some.
