My name is Cassidy Davis. I am the AmeriCorps member at the Washington County Extension. Here is a list of the day camps we are offering.
- July 21-23 | 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM is the Theater Day Camp where kids will learn how to produce a play.
- August 11-13 | 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM is the Cooking Day Camp where everyday we have a different theme, and we make food in correlation with that theme.
- August 17-19 | 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM is the Leadership Day Camp where kids will learn about leadership and how serve through community service and planning a day camp for younger kids.
- August 24-25 | 4:00 PM (24th) to 12:00 PM (25th) is the Camping Day Camp where the kids will learn about camping and will camp out in the backyard of the extension office (it is recommended that kids interested in the Camping Day Camp come to the Leadership Day Camp as well. Because we will be doing things in the Leadership Day Camp that directly affect the Camping Day Camp)
- August 26-27 | 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM will be another Theater Day Camp similar in that the kids will learn how to produce a play, but differing in the the things they learn and the theme. This will be especially good for the kids that are not able to make it to the Theater Day Camp on the 21st-23rd, but of course it is just fine for kids to attend both. The more the merrier!
