The National Old Time Fiddle Contest and Festival has been assessing and organizing over forty boxes of its records, recordings, photos, mementos, and other related materials. There are many gaps in our holdings, particularly in the early decades extending back to the very beginning in 1953.
We are soliciting donations of privately held materials to add to our collection of correspondence, programs, mementos, photos, etc. The materials will be assessed for addition to the fiddle contest and festival archives, a professional archive at a major university, addition to the fiddle contest museum, or possible resale to support the fiddle contest and festival.
