The Weiser City Fire Department was dispatched at 2:01 PM to 114 E. Main, Legends for an electrical fire. A smoking, melted ballast in the kitchen was discovered to be the cause of the burning electrical smell. Legends owners are waiting for an electrician to arrive to replace the light fixture, prior to re-opening. Battalion Chief Jeremy Black was in charge. Weiser Rural Fire Department was called to assist in the event it was a full blown commercial fire. Thankfully it was contained to a light fixture.
